Our mission is to foster a sense of community, belonging, and cultural identity among African immigrant youth in Seattle. Through soccer, mentorship, and social support, we aim to facilitate their successful integration into American society.

Founded in 2011, SAPL was born out of a passion to address the unique challenges faced by African immigrant youth in Seattle. Our founders, a group of community leaders and soccer enthusiasts, recognized the potential of soccer to bridge cultural divides and foster social cohesion. Today, we proudly serve over 300 youth from diverse African backgrounds.
